PlayStation Now is now available on Samsung smart TVs

Sony has announced that its PlayStation Now streaming service is going to be available on select Samsung smart televisions.

The scheme is available only on select devices, but this is the first time that PlayStation Now has been available on non-Sony tech. Owners of Sony Bravia smart TVs – who also own DualShock 3 controllers – have been able to se PlayStation now.

So far, the ability to use PlayStation Now on Samsung TVs is only available in America and Canada.

The platform holder said when it revealed its pricing structure in January that PlayStation Now would be coming to select Samsung smart TV.

PlayStation Now launched in open beta in America last July, and initially was only for PlayStation. The service is now available on the PS3, too. The beta came to Europe earlier this year.
