Pokémon Go passes 500m downloads

Its community of active players may be dropping, but that’s not stopping Pokmon Go from reaching new milestones.

The Pokmon Company and developer Niantic announced last night that the mobile game has been downloaded more than 500 million times around the globe since it first launched in July.

The title previously set a new record for the most downloads in its first week of launch, although the number of players hasfallen significantly in the last few weeks.
