Prices dropped for MCV Awards 2011

The biggest night on the trade calendar returns on April 7th, but will be cheaper to attend.

Table prices have been cut by up to 200, whilst individual seats have also been cut by 20.

The MCV Industry Excellence Awards moves into its ninth year in 2011 and will take place in front of an audience of 600 retailers and trade professionals on Thursday, April 7th at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London.

18 awards are up for grabs across retail, sales, marketing, PR, services and more.

Nintendo is sponsoring the Retail Category, including Star Store, Supermarket, Independent Retailer, Online Retailer and High Street Chain.

A full set of categories and details of the lobbying process will be revealed on Friday, January 14th.

We’re delighted that Nintendo is on board as such an important sponsor. They have a close relationship with stores of all sizes and have been at the heart of widening the reach of games,” said MCV publisher and Intent Media boss Stuart Dinsey.

The UK trade awards are always sold out, and will be again, but we feel that in this time of recession, higher VAT and weaker economic confidence it is only right to do what we can to make the biggest night of the year even better value.”

A Gold table of ten includes premium position, drinks and branding. This has been cut by 200 to 2,795.

Silver tables are now 2,595 and Bronze tables are 2,395. Single tickets are 275 per person.

Table and sponsorship enquiries should go to MCVAwards@intentmedia.co.uk.
