Alan Duncan leaves PlayStation UK

Marketing director Alan Duncan has left SCE UK after almost 13 years at the platform holder.

Duncan began his career in the games industry at GT Interactive in 1998, but joined Sony a year later as product manager. He then moved up to marketing manager and then marketing director, a position he held for over seven years.

Duncan has worked on the launch of PSone, PS2, PS3, PSP, PSPgo and PlayStation Vita.

"Alan has been a key member of the PlayStation UK management team and can feel justifiably proud of what he has achieved here," said Sony’s UK managing director Fergal Gara.

"I would like to thank Alan for his contribution to the UK business and wish him every success in the future".

Duncan added: "I have made many great friends here, so SCE UK will always be a very special place for me. This was a very difficult decision to take but I believe it’s the right time for me to develop my career with a new challenge.
