Capcom: Resident Evil 6 is our biggest production

Resident Evil 6 is Capcom’s largest-scale production the publisher’s ever worked on, with 600 staff working on the title.

The ‘dramatic horror’ title – revealed last week – will also promise a ‘larger world’ than previous Resident Evil games.

Exec producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi said: This is by far the largest-scale production Capcom has ever embarked on. Between the 150 staff members in Japan and everyone around the world we have more than 600 people involved. A lot of work has gone into this game.

Resident Evil 6 is by far and away the most ambitious title in the series.”

Resident Evil 6 producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi added: This game not only has a larger world and a deeper experience than you have ever played before, but we’re excited to say it’s a blend of action and survival horror – something we like to call dramatic horror.”

Resident Evil 6 will be released on Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 20th, with a PC version to follow.
