Dead Rising: Case West out next month

A fact sheet released by Capcom US has confirmed that upcoming digital-only title Dead Rising: Case West will be released some time in December, VG247 reports.

The game is an epilogue to console hit Dead Rising 2. It follows the success of digital prequel Case Zero, which was downloaded half a million times in its first two weeks of release.

It has since gone on to hit 600k downloads, making it Capcom’s most successful ever digital release.

Of Case Zero, Capcom’s UK product manager Karl Reader told MCV in September that: It’s the most dynamic sales weapon we have ever had in our arsenal, giving us the equivalent exposure of a multi-million pound TV campaign."

The publisher stated in October that total sales in the Dead Rising series had hit 4m units, with Dead Rising 2 selling 2m worldwide.
