Infinity Blade due next month

Infinity Blade will be available to download on iOS devices from December 9th.

The game previously known as Project Sword will be priced at $5.99 (around 3.99) and will be compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad and third and fourth generation iPod Touch devices. It’s the first game for Apple’s mobile platforms that uses Unreal Engine 3.

Epic Games previously released a free tech demo of the game, titled Epic Citadel, which was downloaded more than 1m times. Its name was changed to Infinity Blade earlier this month.

Infinity Blade is a third person action RPG set in a medieval world. It features sword battles, boss fights and Game Center compatibility which allows users to play against each other online.

The game was originally announced as Project Sword in September.
