Devolver to publish commercial release of Gods Will Be Watching

Hotline Miami publisher Devolver Digital has announced a partnership with indie developer Deconstructeam to publish its point-and-click adventure title, Gods Will Be Watching.

Along with taking on publishing duties, Devolverwill be matching whatever the game’s crowdfunding efforts end up bringing in "to ensure Gods Will Be Watching reaches its full potential."

That’s good news for the developers, as the Ludum Dare game jam highlight is in the midst of a successful IndieGoGo campaign – having so far raised over €12,000 beyond the original €8,000 goal, with still a couple of days to go.

The California-based studio plans on using the additional funding to make some significant renovations to the original release, specifically stating it hopes to add more depth to the experience –as opposed to breadth.

The commercial release of Gods Will Be Watching is expected to launch in Spring 2014 on PC, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android.
