E3 2012: Retailer lists Diablo III for PS3

Blizzard’s Diablo III could be heading to PS3, if a listing on German retail site Redcoon is correct.

Such an announcement would be a massive PR coup for Sony, with Blizzard’s high-profile IP being PC only for several years now.

That’s not to say that the SKU – if it’s even real – would be a PS3 exclusive, although the site does not contain any listings for an Xbox 360 version.

Blizzard has never officially announced a console version of the game, but admitted in 2010 that it was working on a console concept” for the game.

Last year it said it was assembling a console team for Diablo. It has even mentioned an Xbox 360 version specifically.
