EA Sports unveiling new UFC game today

EA will take the lid off of its upcoming Ultimate Fighting Championship title later today, and it might be alongside Microsoft’s next-gen Xbox reveal.

Polygon reports the EA Sports posted an image (pictured) on Twitter and Facebook announcing May 21st as a notable date for more info on the unannounced game.

EA purchased the UFC license from THQ back in 2012, signing an exclusive contract with the organization to make multiple games based on the mixed martial arts organization.

Curiously, the reveal lands on the same day as the next generation Xbox console unveiling.

EA has already confirmed the debut of a next-gen FIFA title for Microsoft’s event, so it seems likely they would debut the UFC game as next-gen as well. Stay tuned.
