FIFA 14 demo gets solid release date

FIFA fans will be able to try out this year’s iteration of the UK’s best-selling video games franchise in just a few weeks.

Electronic Arts confirmed during its Gamescom conference that a demo will be released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on September 10th.

There has been plenty of FIFA news over the past 24 hours, including the fact that FIFA 14 will be available for free in a special bundle of Xbox One– as MCV revealed yesterday.

EA also detailed a number of new features for this year’s console game, dubbng it the "biggest FIFA to date", and revealed that the mobile version will be free-to-play this year.

FIFA has just overtaken Call of Duty to once again become the biggest games brand in the UK.
