Gameloft opens new Seattle studio

Mobile games publisher Gameloft has opened a brand new studio in Seattle.

The studio will focus on ‘mid-core social games’ and is currently recruiting, according to GamesIndustry

Gameloft Seattle will be led by studio manager Michael Fitch, who joined the company back in August. He previously worked at Tencent, THQ and Stomp Games and founded games consultancy Better Realities.

"Our vision for this studio is to create a higher standard for the intersection of online, competitive and socially integrated games," he said. "The mobile platform brings unique opportunities with its always-available experiences. We look forward to bringing great games to market."
