Games industry Fight Club opens

Namco Bandai and Capcom are breaking the first and second rules of Fight Club by not only talking about it, but inviting the rest of you to join in.

The rival publishers have teamed up for a special charity event on December 2nd at the Namco Station in London. It is dubbed The Industry GamesAid Fight Club Christmas Special.

This event will see industry professionals settling grudges via competitions on best-selling beat ‘em ups such as Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, Tekken 6 and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.

There will be the chance to play upcoming titles Street Fighter X Tekken and Soul Calibur V – plus activities such as dodgems, bowling, pool, breakdancing, karaoke and a limited free bar.

You can sign up by donating 15 at www.justgiving.com/NamcoCapcomFightClub. All proceeds go to GamesAid.

To find out more, email either Capcom’s Adam Merrett (adam.merrett@capcom.com) or Namco’s Lauren Bradley (lbradley@namcobandaipartners.com).
