Gran Turismo 5 to embrace 3D, Move?

We might not be getting quite the number of triple-A 3D treats that we once thought were on the way on PS3, but the legendary designer behind Sony’s Gran Turismo series has hinted that such technologies could be integrated into the racing brand.

In addition, Kazunori Yamauchi hinted that Move support could also be on the way.

We’re always attuned to new technologies,” he told PSM3, as spotted by CVG, when asked about 3D and Move support for GT5. If there are display devices or peripherals that seem interesting, I’m sure we’ll work to support them.”

There’s currently no release date for the perennially delayed Gran Turismo 5, though a Christmas 2010 release remains a possibility.
