Another Warhammer game, this time in the form of a free-to-play title

HeroCraft developing Warhammer 40k card battler

Just when you thought there were no more licensing opportunities left for Warhammer 40,000, Games Workshop went and found another.

The tabletop giant has signed a deal with HeroCraft to develop a card battling game based on the IP that will be free-to-play. It’s due for release on PC, iOS and Android in 2014.

“HeroCraft have presented us with a unique and exciting vision for a game based on this most evocative and barbaric chapter of Space Marines – the Space Wolves,” Games Workshop’s head of licensing Jon Gillard stated.
