JAPAN: 360 price cut nears

Microsoft is to hold a press conference in Hong Kong tomorrow where it is expected that a price cut for the machine will be announced for key territories across the region.

Kotaku claims that the new prices, which have not yet been outlined, will go live in countries such as Japan on September 10th.

It’s expected that, as in the UK, the Pro SKU will be phased out and replaced with a reduced price Elite and an RRP-increased Arcade.

MCV revealed earlier today that Xbox 360 enjoyed a 43 per cent price increase in the UK following its price cut last week.
