Marble Hornets writers join Slender: The Arrival team

The developers of upcoming Slenderman outing Slender: The Arrival have announced a partnership with the Marble Hornets.

The Marble Hornets, for those not in the know, are the creators of a horrifying Slenderman-themed YouTube series that is widely regarded as the scariest Slenderman media ever created.

Writer Joseph DeLage, Troy Wagner and Tim Sutton are penning the plot for the game, which itself is a remake of the wildly successful indie outing Slender: Eight pages.

I’m thrilled to welcome The Marble Hornets group to our development team,” Eight Pages creator and The Arrival dev Mark Hadley said. I’m confident that together we can produce a mind blowing horror experience in The Arrival.”

The founder of The Arrival developer Blue Isle Studios Alex Tintor added: This new collaboration with the Marble Hornets team will help take Mark Hadley’s original award winning game, Slender: The Eight Pages, to an exciting new level of gameplay.

This partnership is exactly what the fans have been asking for, and we couldn’t be happier to work with the Marble Hornets team to deliver the best experience possible.”

Slender: The Arrival is due for release in 2013.
