New Sony attack underway, hackers claim

"Hey Sony, you know we’re making off with a bunch of your internal stuff right now and you haven’t even noticed? Slow and steady, guys."

That’s the chilling claim made by one hacking group earlier today as the digital vendetta against Sony threatens to kick off once again.

With Sony claiming just this morning that full PSN restoration is now just days away, hacking group LulzSec has this morning stated that it has already breached Sony’s new security measures.

Yesterday the group said via Twitter that this is The beginning of the end for Sony" and that "phase 1 [of its attack] will begin within the next day".

It later added: "Sony happens when Sony happens – we’re celebrating our victory right now. The fun will never stop!"

Sony has already suffered a number of breaches to its websites since the restoration of PSN, though the games network itself appears to have remained secure since returning on May 15th.
