Paul Jackson's RailWorks outfit expands with 'creative studio' in Chatham Docks

Railsimulator opens new studio

UK developer Railsimulator has opened a new premises in Kent.

The recently opened ‘creative studio’ will house 10 staff in programming and testing roles, who will be responsible for developing RailSimulator software, including the RailTrack series that started life as EA’s Rail Simulator.

The new outfit, based in Kent’s Chatham Docks and near to the company’s existing offices, was opened by local MPs Tracey Crouch and Mark Reckless, pictured with Jackson above.

"This is a very exciting development." said Paul Jackson, CEO of RailSimulator. "It was fantastic to see Tracey and Mark take such an interest in our company by opening our new creative studio.

"Our company has grown considerably since we first opened our first office in Chatham a year ago, and I am happy to say that we have begun as we mean to continue. We have led the way for train simulation for the past year, and with our new team we shall continue to innovate and push the genre forward."

Railsimulator has released some 80 titles in just two years, most of which offer realistic locomotive experiences and modeling tools for both enthusiasts and the industry.
