Plants vs Zombies 2 pushed past July release date

Plants vs Zombies 2 will miss its previously announced release date of July 18th, PopCap has confirmed.

The developer took to Twitter to reveal the delay, but declined to explain the cause of the setback and failed to provide a specific readjusted launch date.

Plants vs. Zombies 2, originally slated for a July 18th release, will now be released later in the summer,” the tweet read. Stay tuned for more details.”

PopCap officially unveiled the game earlier this month as a microtransactions-powered free-to-play offering launching exclusively on iOS.
