PlayStation Now US private beta hits PS4 this week

The private beta for game-streaming service PlayStation Now will launch for PS4 in the US on May 20th, Sony has announced.

The US PS Blog reveals that a selection of PS4 owners who’ve registered for the closed test should be receiving codes over the next day or so.

PlayStation Now’s private beta launched earlier this year on Sony’s PlayStation 3 hardware. Beta testers have already logged more than 50,000 hours on the service, and the company plans on expanding the PS3 user base in the near future.”

The Gaikai-powered PlayStation Now is scheduled to go public sometime during this summer.
