PS4 comes with 14-day PlayStation Plus trial

Sony will offer a free two-week trial of its premium PlayStation Plus service with every PS4 sold.

The platform holder is hoping to encourage even more users to sign up to its popular online service, which will be required for online multiplayer on its next-gen console.

Each PS4 owner will be given access to all of PS Plus’ services and features, including the Instant Game Collection, DriveClub PS Plus Edition and download game Resogun.

Additionally, Sony has a new offer for any users that sign up within the next month. These PlayStation owners will be given an extra 90 days when they commit to a year of PlayStation Plus.

Sony confirmed it will continue to bring highly rated games to the Instant Game Collection, including Assassin’s Creed III.
