PSPgo slashed to £150

Shoppers traversing the UK High Street this weekend would have seen a number of impressive video game savings – but few would have topped HMV’s current deal on Sony’s PSPgo.

The retailer’s website is offering the latest iteration of the PlayStation portable in black for just 149.99 – a massive 75 less than the machine’s RRP. The white version is available for 199.99.

HMV itself describes the offer as ‘very limited’ on its Twitter feed.

Whilst festive discounting is common in the video games sector, it’s unusual to see much movement in the hardware market – aggressive discounting of consoles to this scale is very rare.

HMV’s deal can be viewed here.
