Rabbids TV show premieres next month in the US

Ubisoft’s Rabbids Invasion cartoon series will debut in the US on Saturday, August 3rd.

The first episode will premiere on Nickelodeon at 11.30am ET/PT, according to the Ubisoft blog.

The series will run for 26 half-hour episodes, each of which will feature three short stories based around the Rabbids. The first three will be Omelet Party, Rabbid Mollusk and Rabbid, Are You There?

While no UK date has been set, Ubisoft is hoping Rabbids Invasion will start airing on Nickelodeon channels internationally at some point in Autumn.

An interactive app will be later released for tablets, letting viewers mess around with the episode and play mini-games that tie-in with the Rabbids’ antics.

This is also in the works for Xbox One, and was demonstrated at E3.
