Resident Evil 6 PC dated for March, console update arrives next month

Capcom has revealed when PC gamers will get a crack at Resident Evil 6, as well as when the next free title update will land for consoles.

RE6 will be available for Windows, as well as release through Steam, on March 22nd of next year. The game launched in early October for consoles.

While the title will only be available as a digital download in North America, Europe will see a simultaneous launch of both digital and retail offerings.

The PC effort will match its console counterpart, and will include all free content updates already made available on PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.

Resident Evil 6 is also set to receive its second title update as a free download on January 22nd, and is expected to land on Xbox 360 Games on Demand as a full game download sometime this winter.
