Simultaneous PC release for Splinter Cell: Blacklist

Ubisoft has announced the Splinter Cell: Blacklist will arrive on PC at the same time as its console counterparts.

The publisher recently pushed back Blacklist from its spring release window to 20th August, but going by past trends, we doubted whether this date would apply to the PC version.

Ubisoft has now confirmed to Rock Paper Shotgun that the PC version too will arrive on the same date as the console versions.

The August 20th date is for the PC version as well,” a Ubisoft representative said, adding, It is day and date with the console versions”.

Besides PC, Splinter Cell: Blacklist is also headed to Xbox 360 and PS3, with no official confirmation on the rumoured Wii U version.
