Tekken 7 release date confirmed for June 2nd

Tekken 7 is launching on June 2nd on PS4, Xbox One and PC, Bandai Namco has announced, and will come in multiple editions at retail.

The standard Day One version of the game will come with a physical copy of the game and the Eliza character DLC, but there will also be a special digital Xbox One pre-order pack that includes a free copy of Tekken 6 as well as the Eliza DLC. All digital pre-orders will also receive Eliza as a downloadable character.

Meanwhile, the Tekken 7 Deluxe Edition will be a GAME exclusive costing 69.99. This will be available for all platforms, and will come with the Season Pass in addition to the main game.

The Tekken 7 Season Pass gives players three content packs that will add new characters, stages, game modes and costume packs in addition to a bonus 35-piece Metallic Costume Pack. Each content pack will also be available to buy separately.

Then there’s the Tekken 7 Collector’s Edition that costs 129.99. Again, this will be available for all platforms and will include everything mentioned in the Deluxe Edition (including the Season Pass) as well as a 30cm high statue of Kazuya kicking Heihachi in mid-air. It measures 45cm wide. It also comes with a special steelbook case and the official Tekken 7 soundtrack.
