Telltale wants to transfer your Walking Dead save from PS3 to PS4

The Walking Dead’s all-important narrative arc may not be lost in the transition to next-gen.

Players of the game’s five episodes will have seen their characters develop across each release. While PC players will have no problem keeping hold of this vital progress data, the lack of compatibility between PS3 and PS4 poses a problem to PlayStation fans.

Luckily, talking to IGN developer Telltale has suggested that the studio is already talking to Sony about how players of the first The Walking Dead saga will be able to carry on their personal story on the PS4.

"Season 2 will read what you did in Season 1 and that will tailor some of the things that happened in Season 2,” executive producer Kevin Boyle stated.

They’ll be a lot more social and in-between episode features for Season 2 that definitely exploit what the new platforms have to offer. We’re super-excited about PlayStation 4 and what all the other big console manufacturers have in store."
