Twitch app arrives for PS4

Twitch’s dedicated viewing app for PS4 has arrived on the North American PlayStation Store.

Polygonreports on the app’s arrival following the company’s announcement at its inaugural TwitchCon event last month. The free download weighs in at 54 MB.

ThePS4 packed the ability to broadcast gameplayvia Twitch at launch, but until now required use of the the console’s built-in web browser to view streams on the service.

Twitch previously confirmed the app is also in the works for PS3 and Vita, stating it would arrive on the platforms sometime this fall.
