What’s Out Today? w/e June 15th, 2012

Anyone who still believes the games market is too generic should head to the High Street today.

Warner Bros has published Lollipop Chainsaw, the latest title from inventive and often outspoken developer Suda51. Sure, zombie-slayers are nothing new but how many star barely-clothed cheerleaders with their boyfriend’s head dangling from their belt and a jewel-encrusted chainsaw?

Meanwhile, Sony releases an innovative new adventure for Vita in the form of Gravity Rush, where players must tilt the handheld to change the gravity in the game world. Doing so allows them to navigate through surreal environments and build up momentum for special attacks.

Also out today is Square Enix’s 3DS RPG Heroes of Ruin.
