£280 Mass Effect Andromeda Collector’s Edition includes RC Nomad

The top-end Mass Effect Andromeda SKU will include a remote control version of the game’s Mako-like Nomad explorer.

The Collector’s Edition will retail for 279.99 in the UK and is exclusive to GAME.

The RC Nomad is controlled via a smartphone app. It boasts an in-built camera, six-wheel drive with front and rear steering and flashing LEDs. It’s charged via USB. The SKU also bundles a Steelbook copy of the game.

The Mako featured in the first Mass Effect game but was scrapped for the second and third instalments. Evidently it’s making a return in the new game, which is due out in the spring.

Special Edition games have been down the RC route before – Call of Duty’s Prestige Edition’s have previously offered RC cars and even an RC drone.
