Army Of Two: The 40th Day announced

EA Montreal has announced it is currently developing Army Of Two: The 40th Day.

The game is a direct sequel to the 2008 original, once again focusing on co-operative shooting action. It is due for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PSP this winter.

The 40th Day will be set in Shanghai, China, as the city is subjected to a series of disasters. The main characters Rios and Salem return as a private military team hired to tackle terrorist forces around the world.

The game will feature a wider range of co-op moves and retains the online multiplayer mode from the original.

Army Of Two received a lukewarm response from critics but was a big hit at retail, shooting to number one upon its UK debut.
