Call of Duty: Ghosts on PSN for Rs 2,799; Rs 1,500 less than retail

Call of Duty: Ghosts has just gone up for preorder on the Indian PlayStation Store and there’s a massive difference in price from the retail version.

While you can preorder the disc version of the game at retailers for Rs 4,299, on PSN, it’s available for Rs 2,799 only. That’s Rs 1,500 less.

The PSN preorder also entitles user to an exclusive Call of Duty: Ghosts theme. However, the PSN listing doesn’t mention if the Freefall DLC, which is offered on retail preorders, is part of the preorder promotion.

Those who preorder the game on PSN will be able to begin downloading the game on 4th November, a day prior to its release.

Also available for purchase via PSN is the Call of Duty: Ghosts Season Pass, which is priced at Rs 3,000 and is valid on both the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game through a single purchase.

Aside from giving players access to all post-release DLC for Ghosts at a lower bundle price, the Season Pass also entitles them to ‘a unique MP character head, weapon camo, and other digital items’, which will be unlocked at launch itself.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is set for release on 5th November on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
