Classic IP Carmageddon returns

The original studio that kicked off the Carmageddon series is about to launch the game back into the spotlight.

Stainless Games, the longstanding indie group based in the Isle of Weight, is building a new download-only game based on the iconic series.

The new title, called Carmageddon: Reincarnation, is in early stages of development and set for a 2012 release.

"Carmageddon has returned to its Indie developer roots, and the time is right to bring the game to a new audience,” said studio CEO Patrick Buckland.
