Digital prices for Thief and Tomb Raider halved on Xbox One

Microsoft’s new policy of competing with the High Street is continuing with some new Xbox One deals on Xbox Live.

Both Thief and Tomb Raider are to have their prices cut by 50 per cent on the service, meaning they will be available for 25 a piece.

In addition, 33 per cent will be lopped off the price of Call of Duty: Ghosts and 20 per cent off Call of Duty: Ghosts Hardened Edition.

The new prices will be active between March 28th and March 31st.

Last month Microsoft cut the price of launch title Ryse: Son of Rome to 34.99, admitting that it was facing off directly with the High Street.

Last Friday Sony told MCV that it had cut the price of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes to 24.99 on PS4 to try and be more competitive with retail.
