GAME announces consumer show

Leading UK games retailer GAME has tonight at London’s video game BAFTAs announced that it is to stage its first UK consumer games show later this year.

Called GamesFest, the event is actually an extension of the retailer’s store manager conference. Entry will be reserved exclusively for Reward Card customers.

It’s scheduled to take place at the Birmingham NEC between September 16th-18th – that’s exactly one week before the Eurogamer Expo is held at Earls Court in London.

Last year the retailer held its first ever GamesFest event in Madrid.
