GAME to host Diablo III Ultimate Evil Edition lock-ins

GAME is to host in-store hands-on sessions with Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition.

The latest version of Blizzard’s gothic RPG introduces the game and its Reaper of Souls expansion pack to current gen consoles, as well as providing last-gen console owners with access to the expansion pack following the release of the base game on PS3 and Xbox 360 last year.

Blizzard recently revealed that over 20 million units of Diablo III have been sold.

21 GAME stores around the UK will offer customers early access to the PS4 version of Ultimate Evil Edition between Thursday August 14th and Saturday August 16th.

Charlotte Knight, category director at GAME, commented: Diablo III was an incredibly popular title last year and we saw hundreds of gamers queuing outside stores to sample the crusade during our last lock-in series.

"We can’t wait to showcase the Ultimate Evil Edition, bringing the game to next-gen consoles along with all the original expansion content in one volume. The lock-ins will allow fans to get their hands on the game before official release but tickets will sell-out fast, so they should act quickly if they want to avoid missing out.”

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition will be released onPS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on August 19th.

Tickets for the lock-ins can be purchased inside participating GAME stores. Attendees must be 16 or over.
