Goat Simulator: The Bundle getting physical release on Xbox One

The surprise phenomenon that is Goat Simulator is to receive a boxed console release.

Goat Simulator: The Bundle will be released on Xbox One on March 4th. Included in the box is the original title and its two expansions, GoatZ and MMO Simulator. All three games are utterly ridiculous, of course, but then that very much is the point.

Be a simulated goat. Be a simulated goat in a zombie apocalypse. Be a simulated goat in a simulated MMO. Or, be all three in this Goat Simulator bundle,” the blurb reads. Goat Simulator is the latest in goat simulation technology. You no longer have to fantasize about being a goat, your dreams have finally come true! Goat Simulator is all about causing as much destruction as you possibly can as a goat. It has been compared to an old-school skating game, except instead of being a skater, you’re a goat, and instead of doing tricks, you wreck stuff.”

See, we said it’s ridiculous.

Goat Simulator was originally created as part of a game jam, but the response was so overwhelmingly positive that developer Coffee Stain conceded to pressure and granted it a full release. As well as enjoying success on PC and consoles, the game has been a big hit on mobiles, selling 100k units in its first week alone.

Goat Simulator has already had a boxed release on PC.
