Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes to get Indian release; priced Rs 1,999

Update:E-xpress Interactive has confirmed that it will distributeMetal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes in India in India, and also confirmed the Rs 1,999 price point for the game.

The Indian release date for the game is 21st March.

E-xpress Interactive is likely to be the new distributor for Konami games in India, and will releases Metal GearSolid 5: Ground Zeroes in India at Rs 1,999.

Origin Games had announced over the weekend that it was no longer distributing Konami games in India, and we’d heard rumblings of other Indian distributors being in talks with the MGS and Pro Evolution Soccer publisher.

While we await an official confirmation from E-xpress that it will indeed distribute Konami titles in India going forward, its retail arm has now listed Ground Zeroes on eBay.

The game is now available for preorder for PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3 via Games The Shop. Each version has been priced at Rs 1,999.

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes is scheduled for release on 20th March, and we’re in touch with E-xpress to find out when the game will hit stores in India.
