New faces at GAME Australia

The current head of buying at GAME in the UK, Kathryn Jarvis, is to join the retailer’s Sydney office after taking up the position of commercial manager at its Australian office.

Jarvis, a games industry veteran of 12 years, will assume responsibility for all supplier-facing activities and will report to commercial director Matt Precious.

In addition, current commercial manager Ben Grant is to become GAME Australia’s new marketing director, and will report directly to MD Paul Yardley. Grant has been based at the Sydney office for three years. In his new role he will lead brand development, trade marketing, customer interaction and PR.

It has also been confirmed that Lucienne Aquilina is to leave the company.

In June of this year MCV revealed a number of redundancies at the Australian arm of GAME.
