Pokémon retail promotion to offer GAME customers a free Shiny Charizard

A new promotion surrounding the last four Pokmon titles is to kick off next Friday at GAME.

From April 3rd, GAME customers will be able to walk into their local store and ask for a free code for the elusive Shiny Charizard, a special version of the iconic dragon monster which is, well, shiny.

The code will work on 3DS titles Pokmon Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, X and Y.

A separate code, on offer during the same undefined ‘limited’ period, will provide additional access to a Pokmon Trading Card Game: XY Primal Clash Collector’s Album.

The promotion will be backed by Pokmon-themed display sections in all 320 of GAME’s UK stores, as well as a TV campaign aired from April 3rd to April 19th on channels including CiTV, Cartoon Network and Disney XD.

Retailers across France, Spain, Italy, Germany and the Nordic territories will be playing host to similar activities.
