The Walking Dead to make next-gen debut later this month

Telltale’s acclaimed The Walking Dead will arrive on PS4 and Xbox One later this month.

Both the first and second series of the game will be released on both next-gen consoles on October 24th, IGN reports.

Their release will be staggered in North America, however, with Season one arriving on October 14th and Season Two on October 31st – that’s the same date Season Two will arrive on PS3 and Xbox 360, incidentally.

Meanwhile, Season Two will then roll out to PlayStation Vita on November 4th.

The Season one release will also include the one-off sixth episode 400 Days.

The game first debuted in 2012 and has since rolled out onto nearly every platform on the market, with the notable exception of Nintendo’s hardware.

Telltale is currently developing two new series – one based on Game of Thrones and the other on the Borderlands IP.
