Top 100 Women in Games: Fiona Stewart

Fiona ‘Fee’ Stewart started her art career in the 1980s, working in publishing before going on to study fine art painting and printing at Bradford.

From there she went on tolearn how to make 3D models/art assetsand animation for games.

In the years since, she has become responsible for product management for several indie studio games.

In 2012, Fee and her team won the Glasgow Caledonian Global Game Jam, with their winning game Shplem (now Splemy) nominated for a BAFTA.

The same year, Fee became managing director for her own, multi-award-winning studio, Formerdroid, whichhas made games and animations for clients such as the BBC and Microsoft.

Fee is additionally a director of Game Makers Yorkshire Ga-Ma-Yo, which has over 500 members.
