US: Toys R Us offers hardware trade-ins

Toys R Us in North America had added video game consoles to its pre-owned offer.

Consumers can now trade-in hardware at the service desk, and will receive a Toys R Us gift card that can be used at Toys R Us and Babies R Us stores, as well as on ToysRUs.com.

Hardware eligible for trade-ins include all varieties of Xbox 360, Xbox, PS3, PS2, PS1, PSP, Wii, DS, GameBoy Advance, GameCube and N64.

Toys R Us rolled out its software pre-owned service in the US in September following a successful trial period. The store accepts a variety of games, from modern titles to older Atari games.
