Retailer lists Assassin’s Creed: Rogue for PS3 and Xbox 360

Is Assassin’s Creed: Rogue the name of the new AC title due for last-gen systems?

Ubisoft has always insisted that while Assassin’s Creed: Unity will be a next-gen and PC only affair, the series would be gracing PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2014.

Assassin’s Creed: Comet has for months been the rumoured name for the title, but perhaps Ubisoft has other plans.

Gematsu reports that Swiss retailer World of Games was until recently carrying a listing for something called Assassin’s Creed: Rogue on PS3 and Xbox 360.

If it is the same game as Comet, it’s said to star a Templar named Shay, is set in 1750’s New York and includes ocean-faring elements a la AC: Black Flag.
