Rogue Legacy, Hotline Miami 2 and more indie titles to debut first on PS4 and Vita

Independent developers continue to flourish on PlayStation platforms, with the platform holder bagging a bunch of exclusive debuts.

Sony’s Shahid Ahmad announced a number of exclusives during the company’s Gamescom conference.

Hotline Miami 2 and Rogue Legacy were among the games that will be making their console exclusive debut on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita next year.

Ahmad also announced Volume, the next game by Thomas Was Alone creator Mike Bithell, will make its world exclusive debut on PS4 and Vita next year.

Other games will have more explicit benefits of being on PlayStation platforms.

N++ will have new multiplayer modes and level editing tools, and will be exclusive to PS4 this winter.

Meanwhile, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth will be made free to PS Plus subscribers when it launches on PS4 and Vita next spring.
