Slender: The Arrival dev announces first person adventure Valley

Blue Isle Studios has announced its follow-up project to last year’s console horror-fest Slender: The Arrival.

Valley sounds like an altogether different proposition, going by the early press. Players will don a powered suit that grants them extraordinary speed and agility, along with the phenomenal ability to manipulate life and death”. It sounds as if the world, which is apparently large, will evolve along with the player.

"After the success of Slender: The Arrival, we wanted to do something completely unique that offered players an amazing amount of freedom, and Valley is just that," Blue Isle CEO Alex Tintor said.

"This is an incredibly exciting project for us – something totally new and distinct, that we expect will intrigue players.”

Blue Isle’s first title was a StarCraft II mod called Subsistence. Slender was its first ‘proper’ title, although that was co-developed with the creator of free PC release Slender: The Eight Pages. Valley will be the Candian studio’s first full independent release.

Valley is due out on PS4, Xbox One and PC this summer.
