Sony president confirms upcoming Bloodborne expansion

From Software isn’t done with its spiritual successor to the Souls series just yet.

Speaking on Twitter, Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida said that he had received a lot of feedback concerning add-on content for PS4 exclusive Bloodborne.

The title’s multi-platform predecessor Dark Souls II was expanded via a trilogy of packs: Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Old Iron King and Crown of the Ivory King.

These were collectively dubbed ‘The Lost Crowns’ and came bundled with remastered release Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The original Dark Souls similarly saw a significant add-on, Artorias of the Abyss.

However, From’s Souls debut, Demon’s Souls, which was available only on PS3, was never provided with extra content.

Yoshida confirmed that Bloodborne would be updated with at least one expansion, teasing that further details would be released later in 2015.
