Splatoon art book confirmed for the US

Nintendo hardback The Art of Splatoon has confirmed for a 2017 release in the US.

The Dark Horse published 320-page book has been a hit overseas, and is now available to pre-order on Amazon for $39.99 ahead of its June 13th 2017 release date.

There’s no word yet on UK availability, sadly.

The Art of Splatoon contains 320 inkredible pages of artwork, including 2D and 3D illustrations of your favorite characters, maps, concept art, weapon and gear design, storyboards, sketches, hand-drawn comics . . . and that’s only an inkling of what’s inside,” the blurb reads.

We’re not squidding around: this is a must have for all fans of Splatoon!”

Splatoon is one of the confirmed first party titles for Nintendo Switch. It will be based on the Wii U version but also feature additional content.
