Stealth Bastard gets a name change for PlayStation release

Curve Studios has announced the new name for its upcoming PlayStation release of Stealth Bastard.

Curve Studios’s lead designer Sam Robinson admitted earlier this month that the studio would be looking to change the game’s (admittedly awesome) name for its console debut.

We’d like to present our fans with an opportunity to be a part of Stealth Bastard’s journey to PlayStation,” he said on the PlayStation Blog. We want to rename Stealth Bastard to something less profane… it’s just too rude!

We therefore want you to have a go at naming the PlayStation versions – if you think you’ve got the perfect profanity-free solution to our naughty title, we want to hear from you!”

And with the competition now over Curve has confirmed the winning moniker – Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark.

In total some 3,500 entries were submitted, with suggestions including ‘Stealth Orgasm’, ‘Ze goggles! Zey do something!’ and ‘El Chappo Stealtho’.

Stealth Bastard… sorry, Stealth Inc will be released on PSN this summer.
